The Institute of the Sisters of the Compassionate Heart of Christ, (SCHC), is a Secular Institute of Consecrated Life, a providential Foundation, born and fuelled by an overwhelming passion to share the compassion of Christ with humanity.
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because He has chosen me to bring the Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free the oppressed and announce that the time has come when the Lord will save His people.” – Luke 4: 18. We therefore, call on good hearted people who are willing and available, to partner with us in giving hope, love and joy to the hopeless, loveless, homeless, suffering, poor Jesus in our brothers and sisters, our children (the orphans and motherless, for whom we have special programmes to ensure they experience a loving, healthy home), street children, "our parents" (the abandoned, sick, aged and dieing), the homeless poor and helpless.
Come and be part of this Clarion call of Christ, to give Him just a cup of water and quench His thirst and patched throat.

Because of the nature of our mission and our ardent desire to positively and effectively touch the lives of our Masters, we live with them right in our houses. We would also want to accommodate as many of them as possible, but we are financially constrained.
Apart from those we live with in our houses, we have a lot of the suffering poor we reach out to in their different homes. Those on the streets, we bring them in. Wherever we find them, we go to them and joyfully and humbly serve them in different capacities.
The Srs break open their lives in diversified services-- firstly, we give legal aid to the poor and unjustly treated, within and outside the prisons, being the voice of the voiceless (advocacy), educational, medical, social, pastoral, counselling and apostolic activities.
Presently, we have a COMPASSIONATE HOME for the orphans, destitutes, childless couples/single men and women who are old and sickly with no one to care for them. We also established a school, where most of our pupils are indigent.
For legal services to our poor, unjustly treated and imprisoned clients who cannot afford to pay for legal services and all the attendant financial responsibilities accrued to these services.
That will conveniently and effectively equip our children for a brighter, happier tomorrow -- Nursery, Primary and Secondary/Vocational School
A standard, well equipped, counselling, skill acquisition and empowerment centre for strayed youths, widows and the helpless.
School & medical fees, upkeep for the orphans and indigent children, the abandoned, sick and aged widows, widowers, singles, and providing shelter for the homeless.

My life is nothing without Works of Compassion.
God is a just God, but He will first show you, Compassion, but your judgement,remains.
What will save you is not what you receive, but what you give. That is the most important thing.
Grace is embodied in those noble things which you were not asked to do, but you did them
